European Green Deal: Threats Assessment for Agri-Food Exporting Countries to the EU

This article is devoted to assessing and substantiating the threats for countries/exporters of agricultural products EU under conditions European Green Deal. The revealed comparative advantages index (RCA), comparison method, correlation regression analysis, taxonomic method have been applied. According RCA main causes relatively significant volume agri-food exports by some countries identified; using it was found that among leading export EU, many states do not meet Deal target criteria agriculture. Correlation analysis has chosen factors only fertilisers use per cropland direct strong influence on CO2eq emissions; a value exporters calculated. major targets till 2030 high threat regarding reduction their supply Member States in case possible Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism or introduction other import restriction mechanisms future. results study can be used government executive bodies analysed make adequate rapid decisions avoid further implementation.
